Two months back, in a meeting held at Bengaluru, the CMD BSNL, has stated that the BSNL employees would not get wage revision w.e.f 01-01-2017,  if the Company continues to go in loss. BSNLEU has pointed out to the CMD BSNL that,  as per the DPE guidelines, the employees are eligible for wage revision w.e.f 01-01-2017,even if BSNL makes loss. In the Open Session of the AIC of AIBSNLEA, held at Mysuru yesterday, com. P. Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU, raked up this issue in his speech. He pointed out that more than 80 % of the Non-Executives and Executives of BSNL would retire before 01-01-2027. For these 80% employees, the wage revision w.e.f from 01-01-2017 is going to be the last wage revision. If these employees do not get this wage revision, than they would be facing loss in their pension. And this loss in pension, would be suffered till the last day of the lives of these employees, pointed out com. P. Abhimanyu,GS. Finally, he strongly demanded that the BSNL Management should implement wage revision for the employees in BSNL w.e.f 01-01-2017. Shri Anupam Shrivastava, CMD BSNL, who addressed the house finally, responded positively to the demand made by com. P.Abhimanyu,GS, and stated "We will make 3rd PRC a success." The house received this statement of the CMD BSNL with a big applause. BSNLEU heartily welcome the statement of the CMD BSNL.

Corrupt and arrogant B.N.Singh is transferred out of Jharkhand. Hearty congrats to the comrades of Jamshedpur. Finally, the arrogant and corrupt B.N.Singh,Sr. GM, Jamshedpur, is kicked out of Jamshedpur, and is posted in Gaya, Bihar circle. He had let loose a " jungle Raj"  in Jamshedpur for the past 3 years. His one point agenda was to demolish BSNLEU. He had been heaping victimisations on the leaders and active members of BSNLEU. As a climax, com. Ram Naresh Prasad, district secretary, BSNLEU, was compulsorily retired. It was unfortunate that the leaders of NFTE at Jamshedpur were supporting B.N.Singh, which emboldened him to attack BSNLEU. More unfortunate is that the Corporate Management was turning a deaf ear to our pleadings for a long time. Finally, BSNLEU is compelled to serve notice for conducting relay hunger strike at the Corporate Office. BSNLEU  will go ahead with the proposed relay hunger strike, till all the victimisations at Jamshedpur are settled.
