[23.02.2017]Secretary, DoT, to give a presentation to the Prime Minister, on "Service with a Smile" - It is a matter of pride for all of us.

The Forum of BSNL unions and associations decided to launch the movement, "Service With A Smile" from 1st January, 2016. The BSNL Management also joined this movement and it became a combined movement of all the unions & associations, and the Management. As a result of the SWAS, BSNL is witnessing speedy revival. Further, many organisations, like the railways also have adopted the SWAS concept. It was told by the CMD BSNL, in the meeting held yesterday, that the Secretary, DoT, is going to give a presentation to the Prime Minister, about the SWAS programme launched in BSNL. Certainly, this is a matter of pride for all the unions and associations, who are participating in the SWAS programme. The trade union movement of BSNL has set an example for the entire country. The SWAS movement is not a one year programme, but it is a continuous programme. Hence, CHQ fervently appeals to the circle and district unions to further intensify this programme, in coordination with all the unions and associations.
